In The Diamond Age, a girl is given a book that adapts to her and grows as she does. We think that’s finally possible. We’re starting with music.
The problem
One to one works.It doesn’t scale.
Aristotle taught Alexander.The best teaching has always been one to one. Most people never get it.
A music lesson is short. The rest of the week is practice alone, and reading gets left for later because nobody is there to spot the note that keeps slipping.
You can google what a chord is. You can’t google seeing it coming on the page. That’s a reflex, built by the right practice at the right moment.
What we’re building
Patiencethat never runs out.
Bandroom adapts to each learner. Practice follows their instrument. What they miss comes back until it holds. Every month, it writes an Encore report for them alone.
It helps teachers go further. Learners share their Encore, and lesson time goes to playing.
And it’s built to be played. Clavis, streaks and daily gigs exist so learners come back tomorrow.
